Our fees are in accordance with the recommended fee guidelines set forth by the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors.
Our
full standard fee is as follows:

Payment is due at the time of service. The Healing Place accept cash, cheques,
Debit, Visa and MasterCard.
* Each session lasts for 75 minutes. Of
this time, 60 minutes is devoted to counselling. During this time we will be able to discuss any matters which are important
for you. At the end of the 60 minutes you are free to leave. The remaining 15 minutes will be used to write up notes of our
discussion in your confidential file.
Fees for counselling cover sessions, phone calls, handouts and many things that
go on 'behind the scenes', including research and preparation time, continuing professional education, clinical consultations
to guide counselling practice, professional certification and other operating costs.
Some extended health plans
and insurance plans will pay for part or all of the services for a Counsellor. Be sure to check your plan prior to your first
visit. I do not bill insurance plans however I can provide statements for you to submit to your plan for reimbursement.
Appointments
and Cancellations
Continuity and consistency are important in counselling. Generally this means that
we will meet at the same time each week except for holidays, illness and vacations. The time we are scheduled to meet
is reserved for you and without 24 hours notice of cancellation, you may be charged a $50.00 cancellation late fee.
